Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers won the second game of their four-game road trip by defeating the Everett Silvertips 1-0.

Rookie goaltender Mads Søgaard picked up his third career shutout, turning aside all 41 shots faced.

Captain James Hamblin scored the lone goal of the game on the power play with less than five minutes to play in the second stanza. The Orange and Black are now 30-18-2-2 and will travel to Seattle to face the 20-25-5-1 Thunderbirds Saturday night. The game will start at 7:05 PM MT.

After Saturday's showdown, the Tabbies will finish off their road trip by paying a visit to the Moda Centre to battle the Portland Winterhawks.
