Notes:

Besting the Blazers: With tonight's victory, the Royals improve to 14-2-0-0 at home against the Blazers since the 2015-16 season. It also marks their eighth consecutive win against Kamloops on home ice.

Country Night: Tonight's victory over the Blazers was the Royals' third consecutive win on Country Night. Over this span, the Royals have outscored their opponents by an 18-7 margin.

Big League Call Up: Royals' forward Alex Bolshakov made his WHL debut against the Kamloops Blazers. The Seattle, WA native was drafted by the Royals in the fourth round, 69th overall, in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.

Pesky Penalty Kill: Tonight's powerplay marker against the Royals marked the first goal surrendered by the team's penalty kill in their last 17 opportunities. The last time the Royals gave up a powerplay goal was on New Year's Day against the Calgary Hitmen.
