Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE (8-28-6-1) visit the Lethbridge Hurricanes (22-11-4-4) for the second time in four days on Saturday, January 12.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT.

The ICE are coming off of a 3-2 loss to the Lethbridge Hurricanes on January 9. The ICE received goals from Connor McClennon and Jakin Smallwood. Goaltender Jesse Makaj was named the first star of the game after stopping 51-of-54 shots. The 'Canes got goals from Jake Elmer, Jordy Bellerive and Dylan Cozens. The ICE were outshot 54-22. They went 0-for-4 on the power play, 1-for-1 on the penalty kill and won 31-of-64 face-offs.
The ICE have amassed 23 points this season, which is good for sixth in the Central Division and 11th in the Eastern Conference.

The Hurricanes host the Kootenay ICE for the third and final time this season on January 12. This is the second time in four days the 'Canes have hosted the ICE. Currently, the 'Canes are in the middle of a three games in three days stretch, which will end in Edmonton on January 13.
The Hurricanes are coming off of a 5-1 loss to the Edmonton Oil Kings on January 11. Adam Hall scored the lone goal for the 'Canes, assisted by Igor Merezhko and Zachary Cox. Both 'Canes goaltenders, Liam Hughes and Carl Tetachuk, received playing time in the game. Both the 'Canes and the Oil Kings had 25 shots. The 'Canes went 0-for-5 on the power play, 6-for-7 on the penalty kill and won 30-of-61 face-offs.
