TODAY'S GAME
The Calgary Hitmen, riding a season-high six game winning streak, play Game 3 of a four-game road trip tonight in Prince Albert against the CHL's top-ranked Raiders. Calgary is 2-0 on the swing following a 3-2 shootout win in Moose Jaw on Wednesday and a 4-3 overtime victory in Saskatoon last night. Mark Kastelic netted the game winner against the Blades on a power play 1:28 into the extra session. For Kastelic it was his second goal of the night and third point as the captain also recorded an assist. Calgary forced overtime when Carson Focht tipped home a Vladislav Yeryomenko point shot with 24.4 seconds remaining in regulation. Egor Zamula also scored for the visitors who overcame a 3-1 second period deficit. Zamula tallied a pair of assists to finish with three points alongside Kastelic and Jake Kryski who picked up three helpers. Calgary outshot Saskatoon 39-24 with rookie goaltender Jack McNaughton making 21 saves to claim the victory.

VS. PRINCE ALBERT: Tonight is the third of four regular season meetings between the Hitmen and Raiders. Prince Albert is 2-0 having outscored Calgary by a combined 12-4. Mark Kastelic (1g, 1a) leads the Hitmen with two points against the Raiders while nine others have a single point. Brett Leason (4g, 3a) is the top performer for Prince Albert with seven points. Sean Montgomery (1g, 2a) is next with three. Over the last five seasons, Calgary is 6-5-3-0 against the Raiders including a 3-2-2-0 mark in Prince Albert. They will wrap up their season series on Feb. 8 in Calgary.

DID YOU KNOW?: The Raiders roster features seven players from the Calgary area with Zack Hayes, Spencer Moe, Ozzy Wiesblatt, Brett Leason, Sean Montgomery and Ian Scott all from Calgary and Loeden Schaufler from De Winton...Hitmen forward Luke Coleman started his WHL career with Prince Albert playing parts of three seasons before a Jan. 10, 2017 trade to Calgary. Coleman was originally selected by the Raiders in the fifth round of the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft.
PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: Forward Cael Zimmerman is in his second season in the Western Hockey League. The 17-year-old product of Englefeld, Saskatchewan was Calgary's second round pick, 44th overall, in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft. Last season he won the Hitmen RE/MAX Rookie of the Year Award. In 2016-17, Zimmerman played for the Prince Albert Mintos recording 42 points (11g, 31a) in 39 games.
FAST FACTS: Calgary has scored 14 even strength goals in the last four games...The Hitmen are 7-4-1-0 against teams from the East Division...Calgary has killed 28 of their last 29 shorthanded situations.
CANADA WINTER GAMES: Three Hitmen prospects have been named to play in the 2019 Canada Winter Games. Forward Sean Tschigerl will suit up for Team Alberta with defenceman Tyson Galloway on Team British Columbia and defenceman Rory Neill on Manitoba. The tournament will be held in Red Deer from Feb. 16-22.
PLAYOFF CHASE: With 27 games remaining in the regular season Calgary holds the final Eastern Conference Wildcard spot, sitting eight points ahead of the Brandon Wheat Kings. Brandon is in Moose Jaw tonight.

TRADE WINDS: The WHL Trade Deadline passed Thursday with Calgary acquiring the rights to 17-year-old forward Quinn Olson from Prince Albert in exchange for 17-year-old forward Bryce Bader. The deal also sees the two teams swap conditional sixth-round picks in the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft. Olson is playing in the Alberta Junior Hockey League with the Okotoks Oilers where he is second in team scoring with 44 points (17g, 27a) in 36 games. The Calgary, AB product is the younger brother of Tri-City Americans winger and Anaheim Ducks prospect Kyle Olson.
CORRAL SERIES LUNCHEON: The Hitmen have announced plans to reunite the greatest junior hockey line in Calgary history for "The Corral Series Luncheon" sponsored by Sportsnet 960-The Fan. The event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31 in the Scotiabank Saddledome Chrysler Club will feature a Hot Stove Panel with the trio of Danny Gare, Jerry Holland and Mike Rogers. That line combined for 806 points during three seasons with the Calgary Centennials from 1971-74. Tickets for the luncheon are $60 each (plus applicable fees and taxes) and include the following:
