Raiders Roll over Hitmen

Prince Albert, SK - The CHL's top ranked Prince Albert Raiders beat the Calgary Hitmen 7-3 on Saturday night at the Art Hauser Centre.

The loss snapped Calgary's season-high six game winning streak.

Parker Kelly paced the Raiders attack scoring twice an adding an assist. Ozzy Wiesblatt, Brayden Pachal, Cole Fonstad, Dante Hannoun and Brett Leason also scored for the home side.

Riley Stotts netted a pair of Calgary goals, his 13th and 14th of the season, with Luke Coleman adding a shorthanded marker.

The Raiders, who built period leads of 2-0 and 5-2, outshot the Hitmen 41-24.

Calgary, 21-17-3-1, finishes their three-game Saskatchewan road trip with four of a possible six points.

The Hitmen will now enjoy a five day break before wrapping up their four-game road trip on Saturday, Jan. 19 with a matinee against Oil Kings in Edmonton before returning home to welcome the Red Deer to the Scotiabank Saddledome on Jan. 20. It's Sunday Funday where activities include face painters, concourse activities, giveaways and a post-game family skate that is FREE with a game ticket. Sunday Funday features a specially priced $9.99 ticket for kids 12 and under and a $14.99 ticket for adults (plus applicable fees and taxes).
