Royals and Y102 Join Forces To Pack The House

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL and WRFY, Y-102, today announced that they have joined forces to "Pack The House" at the Sovereign Center. Under the new ticket promotion for the Royals' special Saturday-Sunday weekend series, each fan who purchases a full price ticket to an applicable Saturday game can purchase the same seat (or an equivalent seat if the same seat is unavailable) for the immediately following Sunday game for just $5.00. This promotion applies to four special Saturday-Sunday weekend series:

(1) Saturday, December 10, v. Long Beach Ice Dogs and Sunday, December 11, v. Long Beach;

(2) Saturday, December 17, v. Fresno Falcons and Sunday, December 18, v. Fresno;

(3) Saturday, January 14, v. Wheeling Nailers and Sunday, January 15, v. Toledo Storm; and

(4) Saturday, February 11, v. Toledo and Sunday, February 12, v. Toledo.

Game time on Saturday is 7:05 pm, and Sunday games begin at 1:05 pm. This offer can only be redeemed at the Sovereign Center Box Office or by calling the Royals office at 610-898-7825.

The Royals will take on the Long Beach Ice Dogs this Saturday night (7:05 pm). The first two thousand fans through the doors will receive Car Magnets, courtesy of Capital Blue Cross. Saturday's game is also the first Faith & Family night of the season, sponsored by Chick-fil-A and the Auto Spa of Wyomissing, and features a live post-game performance by Paul Good. In addition, fans are encouraged to bring stuffed animals to the game for the annual Teddy Bear Toss. After the Royals score their first goal, fans can throw the teddy bears on the ice - all bears will be collected and donated to Toys for Tots and other underprivileged children in the community. The Royals will face the Long Beach Ice Dogs again on Sunday afternoon (1:05 pm). The first one thousand fans will receive Couch Potatoes, courtesy of Van Bennett Foods and the first two thousand fans will receive Comcast Thundersticks.

The Royals are back in action on Tuesday night as they face off against the Wheeling Nailers at 7:05 p.m. The first two thousand fans through the doors will receive the second trading card set in a series of five commemorating the Royals fifth anniversary season, courtesy of Rieck's Printing. In addition, the US Women's National Team, which will be playing Finland in the Sovereign Center on Wednesday, December 14th, will be available between the first and second intermissions of Tuesday's Royals game to sign autographs and meet the fans. Tickets for the Team USA hockey game are still available at the Sovereign Center Box Office.
