The Rox had a huge fifth inning as Bradley Strong led off with a walk on six pitches and advanced to second as Breshears took first after getting hit by a pitch. Again the Rox were in a two-out situation as Martin came up to the plate keeping the inning alive as he was walked to load the bases. Chris Paul followed hitting a two-run double in the same location as Martin down the left field line to extend the Rox lead to 6-1.
Back-to-back walks in the bottom of the sixth started the inning putting Luke Weber on second and Strong on first. The Rox proved to strive in two-out situations as a wild pitch brings Weber across home plate to take a 7-1 lead over Mankato.
The MoonDogs put two runs on the board in the top of the seventh off a wild pitch and a single to trail St. Cloud 7-3 heading into the bottom half of the inning.
