Round Rock Express - Series Preview Vs. Memphis Redbirds

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Round Rock Express return to The Dell Diamond this week for a four-game series against the Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinals). The series begins Tuesday and runs through Friday with a 7:05 p.m. CDT first pitch each night.

This is a key series for both teams. Round Rock currently owns a five-game lead over the Albuquerque Isotopes in the Pacific Coast League's American Southern Division. Meanwhile, Memphis trails Omaha by four games in the American Northern Division. Albuquerque plays at Omaha while the Express host the Redbirds. Round Rock leads the season series 7-5, splitting a four-game series in the Redbirds' previous visit to The Dell Diamond.

Tuesday is Liberty Mutual Half-Price Group Night; contact a Round Rock Express group sales representative for more information. Tuesday also is KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets, which means tickets are buy-one-get-one-free with a KRAFT Singles package wrapper.

Kids eat free Wednesday compliments of Randolph-Brooks FCU. Each kid age 12 and under will receive a voucher for a hot dog, chips and a small soft drink.

YNN Austin will sponsor a Fill-a-Truck drive prior to Wednesday's game in conjunction with the Williamson County Humane Society. Donations of pet supplies will be accepted in exchange for tickets to the game. Collections begin at 6:15 p.m. outside the main gate. Beer and soda will be discounted for Thirsty Thursday, presented by Firetrol. There also will be a Small Business Expo in the United Heritage Center during Thursday's game.

Postgame fireworks return to The Dell Diamond following Friday's series finale. The burn-ban safe, in-stadium display, sponsored by Bud Light and Pyrotechnico, will be shot from the Dell Diamond playing surface. The show will use 1.4G-rated pyro effects that provide a high-energy display built to a scale conducive to being fired within the confines of the stadium.

Friday's game will be broadcast live on YNN Sports Austin, available on Time Warner Cable channel 408 / HD 1509. Express games are broadcast live on 104.9 FM The Horn ESPN Austin with live online audio available at www.espnaustin.com.
