Round Rock, Tex. - Round Rock Express reserve infielder Greg Miclat drove in three runs and former longtime Astros pitcher Roy Oswalt went six strong innings as the Express (31-40) sunk the Oklahoma City RedHawks (41-29) 4-2 Sunday night before 10,182 at The Dell Diamond.

The game was scoreless until the RedHawks started the scoring in the third inning. After working a 13-pitch at-bat, Scott Moore singled up the middle to score Jimmy Paredes and give the RedHawks the lead.

Miclat led off the bottom of the inning with his first home run of the season to tie the game. Later in the frame, Brad Nelson delivered a two-out RBI double to give Round Rock the lead at 2-1.

Angel Sanchez tied the game with a two-out RBI single in the sixth to tie game. Again, Round Rock would not take long to respond. After Paul Clemens retired the first two hitters of the bottom of the sixth, Mike Bianucci and Luis Martinez each singled to keep the inning alive.

Miclat then sent a broken-bat, two-run double to shallow center field to put the Express in front once again.

The RedHawks could not get a rally going in the later innings, and Aaron Heilman kept them scoreless over the final two frames to earn his third save.

Making his fourth minor league start since signing with the Rangers in late May, Roy Oswalt threw exactly 100 pitches over six innings, 70 for strikes. Oswalt (1-1) allowed two runs and six hits with one walk and five strikeouts.

Paul Clemens (8-5) got through six innings for just the second time in eight road starts, but took the loss. He allowed four runs and season-high 13 hits with no walks and four strikeouts.

After settling for a split in Round Rock, the RedHawks are currently 3-4 on their 11-game road trip. The RedHawks are off Monday but will be back in action in Nashville Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. Live coverage begins at 6:35 p.m. on AM 1340 The Game, 1340thegame.com, or through the free IHeartRadio mobile app.
