WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Alex Liddi and Luis Rodriguez each hit two-run home runs in the seventh inning to help lift the Tacoma Rainiers to an 11-5 win over the Sacramento River Cats at Raley Field on Saturday.

Tacoma trailed 3-2 with two outs until Rodriguez hit his sixth home run of the season off Fautino De Los Santos, giving the Rainiers a 4-2 edge. Two batters later, Liddi homered for the first time as a Rainier this season and stretched Tacoma's lead to three runs with a two-run shot off De Los Santos.

Sacramento cut the Rainiers advantage down to 6-5 after posting a two-run inning in the bottom of the seventh, but Tacoma added insurance with five runs in the eighth.

Adam Moore's ground-rule double added one run, and Carlos Triunfel's sacrifice fly added another. Darren Ford, Luis Jimenez and Liddi rounded out the inning with each collecting RBI-singles.

Tacoma combined to record 16 hits in the contest. The catcher Moore's three-hit, two-RBI performance lead the lineup and included a solo home run that helped erase a 1-0 River Cats lead in the top of the fifth inning.

Reliever Bobby LaFromboise (1-0) earned his first win in his second Triple-A appearance, tossing 0.2 scoreless innings in the sixth. Blake Beavan surrendered three runs on eight hits and walked three with two strikeouts over 5.0 innings in his first start since he was optioned from the Mariners on June 13.

The Rainiers (28-41) look to capture a series win in the team's finale at Sacramento (43-27) tomorrow, June 16. Right-hander Brian Sweeney (2-1, 3.92) is scheduled to start for Tacoma in the contest against right-hander Brad Peacock (6-3, 5.09) for the River Cats. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m.
