
Rohlman Named South Atlantic League Player of the Week

WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK (Lexington, KY) - The Lexington Legends are proud to announce that infielder, Reed Rohlman, has been named South Atlantic League Player of the week. Rohlman's impressive showing at the plate on the Legend's first road trip of the season, earned him his first player of the week honor of 2019.
"We are so proud to see Reed recognized for his hard work this week. He persevered and has become a leader on the team, not only on the field, but also in the community," said Legends President/CEO, Andy Shea.
From April 15-21st, Rohlman hit .440 with 6 doubles, one home run, four RBI, scored four runs while drawing one walk. The Legends faced the Hagerstown Suns and Lakewood BlueClaws during that time. On April 15, he went three-for-four with a double against the Suns. Rohlman recorded two hits in three games in-a-row, April 17th, 18th and 19th.
Rohlman blasted his first home run of the season on April 19th facing the BlueClaws. He also recorded a double and scored two runs while driving in two more.
Currently, he is on an eight-game hit streak batting .483 in that time with six doubles, four RBI and four runs scored.
The Legends face the Greensboro Grasshoppers tonight at Whitaker Bank Ballpark with first pitch at 7:05pm.
