Kelowna Rockets News Release
Kelowna Rockets President/General Manager Bruce Hamilton announced on Monday that the Rockets have granted goaltender Jake Morrissey his outright release.
The move leaves the Rockets with two goalies heading into the 2015-16 WHL season in veteran backstopper Jackson Whistle and back-up Michael Herringer, the same tandem that helped the Rockets to the WHL Championship and Memorial Cup appearance last season.
The Rockets open the 2015-16 WHL campaign this Friday night when they host the Kamloops Blazers.
Tickets are available through www.selectyourtickets.com, at the box office or by phone at 250-762-5050.
