Spokane Chiefs News Release

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs will look to assist those in the Pacific Northwest affected by this summer's wildfires by offering tickets to Bud Light Opening Night versus Tri-City at Spokane Arena on Saturday, Sept. 26, Chiefs' Vice President of Ticket Sales Nate Hopkins announced Monday.

"It's important to us to recognize how much impact this summer's fires had on our community," said Hopkins. "We'd like to invite anyone affected by the wildfires to join us on Saturday as we kick off the regular season at home for the first time in over a decade."

"We are very fortunate to have such a strong fan base not only in Spokane but also in surrounding areas all over eastern Washington and Idaho, even into Montana. Offering tickets to those affected is just the smallest of gestures, but we hope it will provide some relief and an opportunity to have some fun."

Families, firefighters and relief workers from those affected communities may contact a Ticket Account Executive in the Chiefs' Ticket Office at 509-535-PUCK or visit in-person on the southeast corner of Spokane Arena to make arrangements for tickets.
