Rock Cats Washed out Tonight

New Britain Rock Cats News Release
New Britain, CT - Tonight's scheduled 6:35 PM Eastern League game between the Rock Cats and visiting New Hampshire at New Britain Stadium has been postponed due to Wet Grounds. A late day deluge passed over central Connecticut just before game time and, after a nearly two-and-one-half hour delay, the Umpires deemed the field too wet to play on.
Fans in attendance for tonight's postponed game were given vouchers to attend a future 2011 Regular Season game of their choice; this would be in addition to the Rain Check they were already holding for this evening.
No Make-Up date has yet been determined.
The two clubs will get back together under what are forecast to be sunny skies tomorrow afternoon at 1:35 PM for an old-fashioned, Sunday afternoon Doubleheader. It will be a single-admission affair as the Rock Cats and New Hampshire will play two 7-inning games.
