ALBANY, N.Y. -Adam Henrique and Jacob Josefson each had two points, but it was Louis Robitaille who netted the game-winning goal to give the Albany Devils a 3-2 victory against the Binghamton Senators Friday night at the Times Union Center. The win was the third straight for the Devils, who are now 16-20-0-3. The Senators four-game winning streak comes to a halt as they move to 20-17-2-2.

"If you get contributions from everyone, regardless if it's on the scoreboard, that's a good sign," said head coach Rick Kowalsky. With 3:39 gone in the third, Albany was pressuring deep in the Senators zone. Robitaille took a high stick to the face, lost his twig, got up, found a rebound and then willed the game-deciding tally. Robitaille, known mainly for his toughness, has two goals on the season - both are game-winners. David McIntyre was credited with the assist.

"I think [McIntyre] and [Patrick Davis] came back and did a great job on the forecheck," Robitaille said. "I tried to get the rebound first; got high sticked. I grabbed my stick and the puck was right there. I sent a floater at his feet and it goes in. Sometimes it's just hard work to get the goal and I was lucky it was me."

Mike McKenna logged the victory - his third straight - by making 27 saves. He is now 6-7-0 on the year after stopping nine in the first, five in the second and 13 in the third. Teammate Harry Young provided a little help with less than three minutes left in the game when he denied a trickling puck from crossing the goal line.

"It's nice to win," McKenna said. "I think more than anything the whole team is starting to feel that, and we are moving in the right direction."

The Devils trailed late in the second, 2-1, but Matt Anderson changed that with his 14th tally of the season. The 2011 AHL All-Star stuffed in a rebound try while on the power play with 16.9 seconds remaining. The assists went to Henrique and Josefson.

Josefson was responsible for the first goal of the game at 13:37 of the opening period. He was setup by Henrique and Alexander Urbom for his first career North American goal.

The Swede has had four points (1g-3a) in the four games since being returned on loan to Albany from New Jersey on Jan. 7. The Devils are 3-1-0-0 since his return to the Capital Region.

For Binghamton, Erik Condra made it, 1-1, 48 seconds into the second and Derek Smith followed to make it, 2-1, at 3:18 of the same period.

Mike Broduer was between the pipes for the B-Sens. He made 17 saves.

The Times Union Center doors reopen tomorrow for a 7 p.m. contest against Springfield. Fans can stick around after the game for the third All-Star Wine & Spirits Autograph session. Tickets can be purchased at the TUC Box Office or at any ticketmaster outlet. Fans can also get tickets by dialing 800-745-3000 or online at ticketmaster.com.
