Crunch Announce Details of D.A.R.E. Night at the Crunch

Syracuse, NY (January 14, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today the details of D.A.R.E. night at the Crunch, set for this Saturday, January 15 vs. Rochester.

D.A.R.E. will have a table set up on the concourse where children can sign up free of charge for an 'Operation Safe Child' I.D. Card (must be accompanied by guardian) and sign up for a chance to win raffle prizes. In addition, there will be a karate demonstration by students from Trotman Martial Arts in Memorial Hall prior to the game and during the first and second intermissions.

D.A.R.E. is a police officer-led series of classroom lessons that teaches children from kindergarten through 12th grade how to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and violence-free lives.

The Crunch finish off their season-high seven game road trip on Friday, January 14 at Hamilton before finally returning home for a Saturday, January 15 match-up vs. Rochester at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena. Season and single-game tickets for the 2010-11 season are on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, or by stopping by the Crunch office at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
