
Roadrunners Play Three Games this Weekend

The Toronto Roadrunners have a busy weekend as they play three games in three days. The Roadrunners begin the week at home as they take on the Cleveland Barons on Friday, November 21st (7:00 PM). The Roadrunners then travel to Rochester on Saturday, November 22nd to face the Americans (7:35 PM). The Roadrunners return home on Sunday to play the Grand Rapids Griffins.
Toronto earned a record one win and one loss last week in back-to-back games versus division rivals. On Friday, the Roadrunners were defeated 5-2 by the Hamilton Bulldogs at Copps Coliseum. The Roadrunners were able to bounce back the next day as they defeated the Cleveland Barons 3-2 at the Gund Arena.

Morrison Records First Career AHL Win
Roadrunners goaltender Michael Morrison recorded his first ever AHL win in his first career AHL start on Saturday, November 15th. Morrison stopped 22 shots in a 3-2 Roadrunners victory.
Rita Records 100th Career AHL Point
Roadrunners forward Jani Rita recorded his 100th career AHL point on Friday, November 14th versus the Hamilton Bulldogs. Rita picked up an assist on Doug Lynch's power play goal.
Smith Scores Second Game Winning Goal Against Barons
Roadrunners' defenceman Dan Smith scored his second game winning goal of the season on Saturday, November 15th against the Cleveland Barons. Smith's other game winning goal this season also came against the Barons on Friday, November 7th. Furthermore, all three of Smith's goals (and points) this season have come against the Barons.
Hogan Records First Point As A Roadrunner
Roadrunners defenceman Peter Hogan recorded his first point as a Roadrunner on Saturday, November 15th, earning an assist in a 3-2 Roadrunners victory over the Cleveland Barons. It was Hogan's second game of the season since he was called up from Columbus of the East Coast Hockey League on November 12th.

The Roadrunners will look to earn their first victory over the Rochester Americans as the teams meet for the fourth time this season ... Rochester defeated Toronto in both games at the Blue Cross Arena this season (Oct. 17th 1-0 and Oct. 24th 3-1) ... the last time these two teams met they skated to a 1-1 tie in the Roadrunners home opener on November 1st ... Sean McAslan scored for the Roadrunners, while Brian Chapman had Rochester's goal ... Rochester goaltender Ryan Miller is tied for first in the league with a 0.956 save percentage and ranks second in goals against average at 1.25 ... the next time these two clubs meet is December 13th in Rochester
Sunday, November 23rd - Griffins at Roadrunners - 5:00 PM - Ricoh Coliseum
The Roadrunners and Griffins meet for the second time this season as the Griffins make their first ever visit to the Ricoh Coliseum ... the Roadrunners and Griffins meet a total of four times this season ... in the only other meeting between these two clubs so far this season, Roadrunners forward Dan Tessier scored the game tying goal in the third period as the teams skated to a 3-3 draw ... forward Mark Mowers leads the Griffins in points this season with 8g-6a-14pts in 16 games and is tied for fourth in the league with eight goals ... the next meeting between these two clubs is March 17th in Grand Rapids
