
Road Warriors Loaned Sabres Fifth Round Pick; Rowe Recalled

Greenville, SC: Today the Road Warriors announced they have been loaned defenseman Alex Lepkowski from the Buffalo Sabres. In a separate transaction, forward Andrew Rowe has been recalled to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Lepkowski, 20, was assigned to the Road Warriors by the Buffalo Sabres from the Rochester Americans. He has not played a game with Rochester this season. Last season, the 6-foot-4, 214-pound defenseman played with the Barrie Colts, reaching the OHL finals against the London Knights. The Buffalo, New York native recorded a personal high for assists in 2012-13 with nine. In 2011-12, he posted a career best in goals with eight and points with 11. Lepkowski has played in a total of 203 career OHL games with the Colts and Saginaw Spirit.
Rowe, 25, returns to the Wolf Pack after playing in one game with the Road Warriors after being assigned to Greenville earlier in the week. In three games played with the Road Warriors, Rowe has recorded three goals, two assists and a league leading +8 rating.
