
Rivermen to Host First-Even Fan Fest Following 2004 Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star Game

Peoria, Ill. (December 9, 2003) â General Manager Bart Rogers of the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL announced today that there will be an ECHL All-Star Fan Fest â the first-ever in League history â in the Par-A-Dice Hotel-Casino Ballroom following the 2004 Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star game on Wednesday, January 21.
"We're really trying to make this All-Star game special for our loyal and rock solid fan base," Rogers said. "We keep looking to make things happen in new and creative ways, and we believe the first-ever ECHL All-Star Fan Fest will be a great event for our season ticket holders and other fans."
Those attending will be able to enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres, take part in a Player Meet-and-Greet and receive a limited edition ECHL All-Star Commemorative Gift.
Tickets for the ECHL All-Star Fan Fest are $20, and Rivermen season ticket holders will be given the first opportunity to purchase the 400 available tickets. After December 23, any unsold tickets will be available to non-season ticket holders. To order tickets, fans may contact Rivermen Office Manager Brandi Bordner at 309-676-1040 x101.
On Friday, December 12 and Saturday, December 13, the Rivermen host the rival Johnstown Chiefs for two straight games at Carver Arena. Game times are 7:05 p.m.
On Friday, December 12, it is a Coca-Cola Finally Friday. Fans may bring a Cherry Coke or Vanilla Coke can to the Carver Arena Box Office to receive a 2-for-1 Upper Bowl ticket offer. Fans are also encouraged to bring a new toy for the U.S. Marine Corps' "Toys for Tots" Holiday Drive. And the Rivermen will wear special Christmas Jerseys to be auctioned off after the game.
On Saturday, December 13, The Incredible Hulk stomps his way into Carver Arena and will sign autographs throughout the game. Tickets for both games are available by calling 673-3200.
