Tyler Deis Named InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week

Cincinnati, OH-The ECHL announced on Tuesday that Tyler Deis is the InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week for the Week of December 1st-7th. Deis was added to the Cyclones' line-up on Friday, and in his first three games as a Clone, he scored eight points on two goals and six assists.

Deis started his award-winning week with three assists in a 5-4 loss to Wheeling on Friday. The game marked Deis' Cyclones debut. On Saturday vs. Greensboro, Deis scored his first goal as a Cyclone and added two assists in a 5-3 Clones win. Deis received first star honors for his efforts. On Sunday, Deis recorded a goal and an assist in the Clones' 3-1 win in Peoria. For the second consecutive night, Deis was named first star.

In addition to Deis' honor, another Clone named Tyler was recognized this week by the ECHL. Tyler Masters was recognized as a runner-up for the ITECH Hockey ECHL Saver of the Week. Masters went 1-0-1 last week. Masters stopped 25 of 27 shots on Wednesday vs. Toledo before losing in a shootout. On Sunday in Peoria, Masters stopped 32 of 33 Rivermen shots to earn a 2-1 win. The victory gave Masters a 2-0 record this year in Peoria. For the week, Masters recorded a .950 save percentage and a 1.92 goals against average.
