RiverDogs Create Playoff Ticket Packages That Are Now Available

CHARLESTON, SC -- Charleston RiverDogs General Manager Dave Echols has announced that two ticket packages for the South Atlantic League Playoffs, in which the RiverDogs will participate for the second consecutive year, have been created and are now on sale.
"We know that we'll definitely be in the playoffs and we're excited about that," said Echols. "We want to have a great crowd for the postseason which is why we're placing postseason tickets on sale in July. We want everyone to have a chance to see us play for the championship ... again."
In 2004, the RiverDogs reached the playoffs for the first time in 16 years but fell to the Capital City Bombers.
The "Divisional Series Package" encompasses tickets to the games that the RiverDogs will host on September 9 (and the 10th, if needed) at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. The package includes game tickets, a specially made playoff t-shirt, and five "Doggie Dollars" for each ticket purchased that can be used at the concession stands and in the Kids Zone.
The box seat package for the two playoff games are $30 while the lower reserve seat package is $26 and upper reserve package is $24.
The "Championship Package" includes two rounds of playoffs at Riley Park (five potential games total) with games tentatively scheduled for Sept. 9 and 15 (10th, 16th and 17th, if needed). For those games, the box seat package is $60, while the lower reserved package is $50 and upper reserve is $45 per package. In addition to the game tickets, the package includes the playoff t-shirt and five "Doggie Dollars" per ticket.
The format for the Divisional Series is the best of three games while the Championship Series is the best of five games. In the event that not all games are necessary, a full refund for the games not played will be provided or the amount can be applied toward season tickets in 2006.
"We want our fans to come to the playoffs and continue to enjoy the âFun is Good' atmosphere - playoffs style - at The Joe," said Director of Ticket Sales Harold Craw. "And because of that, we're offering special packages to provide value and to help our great fans. Plus, we want them to show their support and spirit by wearing their playoff t-shirts."
The date for individual game playoff tickets to go on sale is August 12.
Ticket prices for the playoffs at Riley Park are $10 for the prime box seats, $8 for the lower reserved seats and $7 for upper reserved seats.
