
River Rats Announce Clear Day Roster

Albany River Rats News Release
ALBANY, NY - The Albany River Rats announced today their 22-man Clear Day roster for the rest of the 2008-09 season and playoffs.
According to AHL by-laws, only those 22 players (20 skaters, 2 goaltenders) listed on a team's Clear Day roster are eligible to compete in the remainder of the 2008-09 AHL regular season and in the 2009 Calder Cup Playoffs, unless emergency conditions arise as a result of recall, injury or suspension. Teams may also add signed junior players or players on amateur tryout contracts after Clear Day, but only once their respective junior or college seasons are complete.

The River Rats continue their four-game home stand on Friday, March 13th as they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at the Times Union Center. Saturday, March 14th the Philadelphia Phantoms are in town for a special 5:00 pm face off with Albany.
