The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned right wing MATT SIDDALL from the Chicago Wolves to the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators. In addition, Chicago has assigned goaltender ROBERT GHERSON to the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL) and released center JUSTIN TAYLOR.

SIDDALL has appeared in 20 games with Chicago during his pro debut this season, collecting his first American Hockey League point, an assist, on March 7 at Houston. He has also racked up 11 goals, 27 points and 141 penalty minutes in 32 matchups with Gwinnett this year.

Last year, the 24-year-old forward completed his fourth season with Northern Michigan University (CCHA), netting a career-high 18 goals, 36 points and 116 penalty minutes in 41 games during his senior campaign. Overall, SIDDALL amassed 32 goals, 44 assists, 76 points and 357 penalty minutes in 147 outings during his four-year collegiate career.

TAYLOR, who was signed by Chicago on Feb. 11, collected two goals and four points in 13 outings with the Wolves. Prior to joining the club, he amassed nine goals and 24 points in 28 games with the ECHL's Las Vegas Wranglers and appeared in two AHL outings with the Houston Aeros.

The 26-year-old forward appeared in seven contests with the AHL's Norfolk Admirals last season, notching five points (3G, 2A), and spent the previous two campaigns with the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights (AHL).

GHERSON has registered a 9-6-0 record with a 2.73 goals-against average and .899 save percentage in 17 outings with the Wolves this season, which includes allowing two or fewer goals in 10 of those contests. He also appeared in two games with the Grizzlies earlier this season, earning a 2-0-0 record with a 2.88 goals-against average and .902 save percentage.

The 25-year-old netminder backstopped 19 games with the Wolves last season, amassing an 8-6-0 record, with a 2.61 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage and shared the team lead with two shutouts. GHERSON also appeared in 16:37 of postseason action over two games during Chicago's run to the 2008 Calder Cup Championship.
