Bilingual Wolves Forward to Speak With Students

Chicago Wolves left wing JORDAN LaVALLEE will visit a French class at the Morton West High School as part of the team's educational outreach program on Mon., March 16, at 1:30 p.m. The Wolves forward will discuss the importance of foreign language study and the benefits of being bilingual.

The 22-year-old forward will address the class in French regarding his hockey background and experience learning French while playing junior hockey for the Quebec Remparts (QMJHL), and will answer questions from students.

The Atlanta Thrashers' fourth choice, 113th overall, in the 2006 National Hockey League Entry Draft, LaVALLEE currently ranks third on the Wolves with 16 goals and has recorded 24 points in 51 games during his third professional campaign this season. The Corvallis, Ore., native has also appeared in two NHL games with the Thrashers this season.

Last year, LaVALLEE registered 20 goals, 22 assists and 42 points in 76 AHL games with the Wolves and made his National Hockey League debut in two games with Atlanta, collecting an assist and his first NHL goal.
