Flames Announce Clear Day Roster

Moline, IL- The Quad City Flames today announced the team's clear day roster. The roster features 22 players including 14 forwards, six defensemen and two goaltenders.

Each AHL team must submit a Clear Day roster consisting of a maximum of 22 players. Only those players listed on a team's Clear Day roster are eligible to compete in the remainder of the 2008-09 AHL regular season and in the 2009 Calder Cup Playoffs, unless emergency conditions arise as a result of recall, injury or suspension. Teams may also add signed junior players or players on amateur tryout contracts, only after their respective junior or college seasons are complete.

The Quad City Flames wrap up their season series with the Houston Aeros on Friday at 7:35 p.m. The Hayman's Ace Hardware Pre-Game Show begins 25 minutes prior to face-off on 93.9 FM WYEC. The games can also be seen live for $6.00 at ahllive.com.

The Quad City Flames return home on Saturday night for the 14th Annual Genesis Jersey Auction. This year's jersey features a St. Patrick's Day theme and will be available for auction following the game. Proceeds from this year's jersey auction will benefit the Take a Shot 4 the Team campaign, a program that provides flu shots for kids in area schools.
