West Sacramento, Calif. - The Sacramento River Cats fell to the Las Vegas 51s, 3-1, for their third consecutive loss on Monday night at Raley Field.
Catcher Jeremy Brown led the Sacramento offense, scoring the team's only run of the night on a throwing error by 51s second baseman Wilson Valdez in the 7th. Brown went 1-for-4 with one run on the night. Sacramento starter Juan Dominguez took his 6th loss of the season giving up 5 hits, 2 runs (both earned) and 2 walks in 6 1/3 innings of work. Sacramento falls to 29-28 going into these two teams' final game of the season tomorrow at Raley Field.
