Ontario Reign News Release

ONTARIO, Calif.- The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, spent the afternoon at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital with patients of all ages on Tuesday, Dec. 6.

The entire team made the trip from Ontario to Loma Linda to spend time with the children and give out signed Reign gifts. The players visited patients on three floors of the hospital and interacted with dozens of healing children.

At Children's Hospital, patients are given the highest level of care from more than one hundred pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, and sub-specialists. Treatment ranges from healing broken bones to life-threatening illnesses. The hospital boasts one of the largest and most advanced neonatal centers in the world. The 22,000 square foot center includes a special area just for infants who have undergone transplants and premature babies requiring special attention and care.

Loma Linda University Children's Hospital prides itself on having a kid-friendly atmosphere to make a child's stay in a hospital a little less scary. The floors are full of fun furniture, colorful playrooms, and lots of toys. While there, the players decorated ornaments, played video games, battled in table-top air hockey, and had some serious board game competitions with the children.

The Ontario Reign Kids Club program allows fans to purchase a $25 Kids Club package to be donated to a patient at the Children's Hospital. There have been 5 packages donated to date. For more information on how to purchase a Kids Club package for a child at Loma Linda, call 909-941-7825 today.
