Walleye Notes

- Past Week Performance: Toledo finished this past week with a record of 0-2-0-1 in the three games played. The week started when Cincinnati erased a two goal Walleye lead Friday night to beat the Walleye 4-3. Saturday night, Toledo fell behind 2-1 in the first period and fell short in Cincinnati 3-2. Sunday afternoon, The Walleye collected a point, but suffered a shootout loss 5-4 to the Kalamazoo Wings.

- Martin on a Roll! Toledo forward Joey Martin collected a goal and three assists in the three games this past weekend. That pushes Joey to a seven-game point streak in which he has scored three goals with six assists. This matches the longest streak for any Walleye player this year. Defenseman Bryan Rufenach also had a seven-game point streak from the November 9-December 2. Bryan collected seven goals and three assists in that span. . Martin is closing in the on the longest point streak for a Walleye player, which is nine games set by JC Sawyer from October 17 to November 7, 2009.

- Lewicki Firing! Forward Aaron Lewicki went 15 games this season before collecting his first goal of the year. Last Saturday night, Aaron scored his first and second goals of the season. That ignited the Walleye forward as he has scored five goals in the last four Walleye games.

- Without a Win: The current three-game winless streak for Toledo is just the second time all season the Walleye have failed to collect a win in three straight games. The first was a three-game losing skid from October 29 to November 5.

- Gametime! The Walleye will hit the ice for three more games this week with all three coming away from Toledo. The first on Wednesday when the Walleye travel to Chicago. Toledo is 3-3-0-0 against the Express this season, winning the last three games played between the two teams. Toledo will then head to the east coast for weekend games in Trenton, New Jersey on Saturday and Sunday. It will be the first meetings of the season between Toledo and Trenton. Toledo is 30-32-8 all-time against Trenton.
