Reign Fall to Aces, 3-1

ANCHORAGE, Ala. - The Ontario Reign (12-10-1-1), proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, lost 3-1 to the Alaska Aces (19-4-1-1) before 3,637 at Sullivan Arena Friday night.

The Aces had built a 2-0 lead on power-play goals by Steve Ward and Garry Nunn before the Reign's Kevin Estrada got his first goal of the season at 7:41 of the third period. Estrada skated out of the right corner and forced the puck under Gerald Coleman's right pad to half the Alaska lead to 2-1. However, Alaska's Wes Goldie put the game away with a one-timer at 10:42.

Chris Carrozzi (1-4-1) took the loss as he stopped 21 of the 24 shots he faced, while Coleman (15-3-1) stopped 33 of 34 Reign shots for the win.
