The Elmira Jackals announced on Saturday that forward Riley Armstrong has been returned to the club by its AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. The Jackals also announced that the B-Sens have recalled goaltender Brian Stewart from Elmira and that the AHL's Peoria Rivermen have signed Jackals forward Mike Radja to a PTO.
In seven games with the Jackals in 2011-2012, Armstrong has scored two goals and added four assists for six points. He was loaned by Elmira to Binghamton on Nov. 17. With the B-Sens, Armstrong has a goal and two assists for three points in five games. Armstrong is an eighth-year pro from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
