
Reign Acquire Netminder Petizian

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL ¬â¢s Los Angeles Kings, announced that they have acquired goaltender Alex Petizian from the Alaska Aces in exchange for future considerations.
Petizian, 23, spent four seasons with the St. Lawrence University Saints from 2006 - 2010, notching a 45-29-10 career record. Petizian, who hails from Kirkland, Quebec, set an all-time record with the Saints with his 2.53 career goals-against average and a career .913 save percentage. The netminder has also appeared in three games in the American Hockey League (AHL), one with the Rochester Americans during the 2009 - 2010 season and two this season with the Portland Pirates on a call-up from the Alaska Aces.
