
Registration Now Open for the Queen City Women's Half Marathon and 5K Race

The history-making women's only have marathon is back...and now it's time to register and get on a racing schedule!
The Queen City Women's Half Marathon and 5K will take place on Saturday, October 6 from 8 a.m.- 11 a.m. The half marathon will begin at 8 a.m. and the women's only 5K will begin promptly at 8:10 a.m.
Each participating runner will receive a super soft tee (new style for 2018), a new custom wine glass (21+ filled), a wine stop finisher medal (half marathon runners only) and first-place age group winners will receive a bottle of wine. Five-year age group winners of the 5K will receive a custom award medal. The cost is $55 for the half marathon and $25 for the 5K.
Both the half marathon (21.0975 km) and the women's only 5K (5 km) courses start on Washington St. 113' south of Exchange St. directly under the south edge of the I-190 overpass. During the race, water stops will be provided to runners.
After the conclusion of the races, runners participating in the event are invited to attend a post-race party with food and beverages hosted at Coca-Cola Field. Ringside wine will be served and music will be provided.
Free parking is available on race day in the lots on Exchange St. near the Bisons outfield pavilion and in the Buffalo News lot (corner of Washington St. & Scott). More parking spaces will be open in the Washington St. Ramp.
Registration is available here! Packet pickup and registration will be available on two separate days before the race: Friday between 3-5 p.m. at the Cabela's Outfitter located at 2003 Walden Ave. Cheektowaga and Saturday (day of race) between 6-7:45 a.m. in the Buffalo News Lobby located on the corner of Scott and Washington.
