The Durham Bulls (33-25) face the Rochester Red Wings (28-27) or the opener of the second three-game series between interdivisional foes. RHP Yonny Chirinos (0-0, 5.40) is scheduled to start for the Bulls against LHP Adalberto Mejia (1-1, 4.24) for the Red Wings from Frontier Field in Rochester, NY. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
Durham dropped its first series against Rochester in a three-game sweep. The Bulls have won their last two games and are 2.0 games up on second place Norfolk in the South Division. The Red Wings are in 3rd place in the I.L. North Division, 3.5 games back of first place Lehigh Valley (33-25).
