RHP Deck McGuire collected his fourth victory of the season on Thursday. The righty tossed 6 innings giving up 4 runs (3 earned) on 6 hits and three walks, while striking out 7. C Danny Jansen went 2-5 with a double and a home run, driving in 5 runs. OF Roemon Fields, INF Lourdes Gurriel Jr., INF Tim Lopes, and OF Ian Parmley each had 2 hits in the victory Thursday in addition to Jansen's.

Today's Starter: LHP Ryan Borucki

LHP Ryan Borucki is making his eleventh start of the season tonight. The lefty threw six shutout innings in his fifth victory of the season in his last start June 2nd versus the Charlotte Knights. Borucki has collected a decision in all of his starts this season.

Columbus (2-1)

The Bisons and Clippers play a total of six times this season. The Herd took two of the three games played at Coca-Cola Field when they hosted Columbus May 29-31.

Danny Jansen

C Danny Jansen continues to collect base hits, going 2-5 with a bases-clearing double as well as a solo home run. Jansen also had an RBI on a groundout. The slugging backstop is hitting .333 (7-21) in 5 games so far in June with 10RBIs and 4 extra-base hits. Jansen is second in the IL in on-base percentage (.421) and tied for third in batting average (.318). Prior to his home run on Thursday, Jansen's last long ball came on April 29 at Coca-Cola Field off of Pawtucket starter William Cuevas.

Jason Leblebijian

INF Jason Leblebijian was on base 4 times Thursday going 1-2 with 3 walks. The 2017 All-Star is 6-17 (.353) with an on-base percentage of .500 in the 6 June games played. Lebelebijian has raised his batting average 11 points (.263) and on-base percentage 23 points (.341) in that span.

Ian Parmley

OF Ian Parmley went 2-4 with a run scored on Thursday. The lefty hitter now has nine multi-hit games in 33 games played this season. He is currently on a five-game hitting streak where he is batting .316 (6-19). Parmley is also batting .300 (15-50) in his last 15 games dating back to May 19.

Bisons Bits

The Bisons have four players represented in the IL Top Ten for batting (Jansen, Lopes) and pitching (Borucki, D. McGuire)...INF Jason Leblebijian is 5th in home runs...The nine-day road trip is the longest of the season for the Herd.

Blue Jays Update

Toronto (27-35) walked it off in the opening game against the Baltimore Orioles 5-4. SS Aledmys Diaz collected 2 hits including the game winner that scored OF Teoscar Hernandez in the 10th inning. OF Randal Grichuk had 3 hits including 2 doubles. LHP J.A. Happ heads to the mound tonight to take on RHP Andrew Cashner in the second game of the series (7:07 p.m.). The Jays will heading to Tampa to face the Rays June 11-13.
