Reggie Hearn Hits Unreal Buzzer-Beater in Team USA Finale
February 26, 2019 - NBA G League (G League)
Stockton Kings News Release
There's a reason Reggie Hearn is the 2018 USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year - he makes big shots when it counts.
Hearn hit a three-ball from the right corner as time expired, and Team USA defeated Argentina 84-83 in the final FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifying game. His buzzer-beater clinched USA first place in its group before the tournament this summer.
Reggie didn't let the pressure get to him, as he described being calm, and confident about his ability to make the shot.
"Calm going into it, crazy hectic after it!"
That confidence paid off, as USA got the win and Hearn was recognized for this monumental moment, earning No. 1 in ESPN's SportsCenter's Top 10 plays on Monday night.
Thanks for making our country proud Reggie, we can't wait see you back in Stockton!
