
RedHawks Sign Donnie Smith

FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have signed RHP Donnie Smith to a contract. Smith was signed prior to Monday night's game against the Sioux City Explorers.
Smith was 4-1 with a 4.03 ERA and eight saves for Fargo-Moorhead in 2010. He appeared in 39 games and pitched 38.0 innings. Smith allowed 21 runs (17 earned) on 30 hits while striking out 41 batters. He also pitched for Fargo-Moorhead in 2008 and was 3-1 with a 3.94 ERA and seven saves in 42 games.
The RedHawks conclude an eight-game road trip tonight against Sioux City and return home on Thursday night to start a four-game series against the Winnipeg Goldeyes at Newman Outdoor Field.
