RedHawks Open Inter-League Trip with 8-0 Win over Trois-Rivieres Aigles

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks ended a full travel day by defeating the Trois-Rivieres Aigles 8-0 on Monday night at Stade Fernand-Bedard in Trois-Rivieres, QC. The win moved Fargo-Moorhead into sole possession of second place in the North Division with a 16-15 record.
RedHawks starter Alex Caldera threw 6.0 shutout innings. He allowed just three hits while striking out five to pick up the win. Pete Levitt finished out the game, allowing just one hit with three strikeouts in 3.0 innings of relief.
Buddy Sosnoskie got the RedHawks going at the plate with a home run in the second inning. Sosnoskie, Mitch Einertson, Tim Alberts and Clint Ourso each collected a pair of hits, while Zach Penprase and Alberts each scored a pair of runs.
The RedHawks and Aigles continue their series on Tuesday night at 6:05 p.m. (Central). Jake Laber will get the start for Fargo-Moorhead, and the game can he heard on 740 AM The Fan and at www.fmredhawks.com with Scott Miller. The pre-game show will start at 5:45 p.m.
