Tonight's Game-- The RedHawks look to bounce back after yesterday's setback as they take on the Omaha Storm Chasers at 7:05 p.m.

Last Night-- Doug Davis shut down the RedHawks over six innings to lead the Storm Chasers to a 6-2 win. Davis (3-1), who played for the RedHawks for parts of five seasons, threw six scoreless innings while giving up four hits and two walks with six strikeouts. The Storm Chasers struck first on Anthony Seratelli's solo home run in the top of the first. Leading 2-0, the Storm Chasers increased their lead in the fifth with a two-run triple by David Lough. The RedHawks got on the board in the seventh inning when Brandon Barnes hit a two-run home run to left field off Louis Coleman. Omaha added a pair of runs in the top of the ninth on a two-run single by Max Ramirez. Brandon Sisk got his sixth save of the season, pitching two scoreless innings while striking out three. Clemens (8-6) finished seven innings for Oklahoma City, giving up four runs on eight hits and three walks.

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- Brian Bass takes the mound for the RedHawks, seeking his second win...Bass had a good start last time out in Nashville that was unfortunately cut short...While trying to sacrifice in the sixth inning, Bass was hit on his right index finger with a pitch and had to leave the game...Up to that point he had allowed two runs and three hits over five innings and would not figure in the decision...Bass makes his sixth start for the RedHawks since signing with the Astros in late May...Although his record stands at 1-1, the RedHawks have won each of his previous three home starts...Bass' played in the Kansas City system from 2000-2006 and made seven starts for Omaha in his final year (1-5, 7.59)...Omaha pitcher Nate Adcock has split this season between the Storm Chasers and the Kansas City Royals...In five starts for Omaha, Adcock is 3-2 with a 1.99 ERA...He pitched one inning of relief on Thursday against Memphis, allowing four runs and four hits...Overall, PCL opponents are hitting just .190 against him...Adcock has also made nine appearances, including two starts, for the Royals this year...Even though he has an 0-3 record, his ERA is 3.12...Adcock was selected in the 2010 Rule 5 Draft by Kansas City and spent all of 2011 on the Royals' 25-man roster, going 1-1 with a 4.62 ERA over 24 appearances.

Offensive Ebb and Flow-- In the RedHawks' last seven wins, they have scored 64 runs (9.1 rpg). In their last seven losses, they have scored just 10 runs (1.4 rpg). Until Saturday night, the RedHawks had not won a game when scoring less than eight runs since a 4-3 victory over Iowa on June 5.

Bombs Away-- Brandon Barnes' two-run homer yesterday was the team's 87th of the season. They hit 88 homers in all of 2011--dead last in the PCL and 32 less than anyone else. Last season, only three players hit eight or more homers. This season, five players have already reached that mark, with three in double digits.

Moore Offense-- Scott Moore is currently on a season-best seven-game hitting streak, during which he is hitting .409 (9x22). His average has not been below .306 since April 7. He has already equaled his home run (nine) and RBI (53) totals from 2011.

Fabulous Fernando-- During his current rehab assignment, Fernando Martinez has gone 6-for-11 with two RBIs. At the time of his promotion to the Astros on June 2, Martinez was hitting .319 with eight homers and a team-leading 38 RBIs.

The Extra Bat-- The RedHawks are now 7-10 in games where a Designated Hitter is used. The team's DH's have hit .254 with six homers and 16 RBIs.

Sporadic Strikeout-- J.B. Shuck's third-inning strikeout yesterday was just his 11th in 199 plate appearances. His 18.1 plate appearances per strikeout would lead the PCL, but he is six plate appearances shy of qualifying.

Solo Acts-- The RedHawks have allowed at least one home run in eight straight games, tying a season-high streak. However, each of the last 11 homers they've surrendered have been solo shots.

Close Calls-- Yesterday's four-run defeat was a bit of a recent anomaly. Each of the RedHawks' previous six losses were by three runs or less. Five were by two runs or less, and three were by just a single run.

All or Nothing-- Omaha's Anthony Seratelli is now 3-for-23 against the RedHawks this season. All three hits have been home runs.

Telling a Storey-- After having to make a couple of spot starts for the RedHawks, reliever Mickey Storey has allowed one run over his last 15.0 innings, with seven hits and 12 strikeouts. After giving up a solo home run to New Orleans' Nick Green on June 10, he has retired 21 of the last 22 hitters he's faced.

Against the Storm Chasers-- The Storm Chasers swept a four-game set in Omaha, May 4-7, marking the only time the RedHawks have been swept this season...Twice the RedHawks trailed in the ninth inning only to tie the game or take the lead, but each time the Storm Chasers won with a walk-off homer...The ball was flying out of Werner Park that series, as each team hit seven homers...Omaha's Derrick Robinson is now 12-for-24 against OKC and has been on base in 17 of 29 plate appearances...Omaha has won seven of their last eight games in OKC.
