RH Doug Mathis (4-5, 5.63) vs. RH Josh Banks (9-8, 3.62)

TONIGHT: The RedHawks continue a 9-game trip with the second of a 4-game set at Round Rock. The RedHawks rallied from a 3-2 deficit after 8 innings to win last night 4-3 on a ninth-inning, 2-run homer by Hernan Iribarren. It was OKC's fourth win of the year (4-46) when trailing after 8, their second win in a row overall and sixth straight head-to-head against the Express. OKC leads the season series 11-2. Righthander Doug Mathis is slated for the start for the RedHawks against Round Rock's Josh Banks.

MAGIC NUMBER DROPS TO 13: The magic number for OKC to eliminate Albuquerque is 13. Albuquerque beat New Orleans 6-5 in 10 innings last night to remain 5 games back of the RedHawks in the American South. OKC, Albuquerque and New Orleans have all had a game cancelled without the possibility of a makeup, so they will play 143 games barring further postponements.

IRIBARREN PROPELS OKC, BUILDS STREAK: Hernan Iribarren hit a go-ahead, 2-run homer in last night's ninth inning to give OKC its only lead of the game in a come-from-behind, 4-3 win. The blast to right-center was Iribarren's second 2-run homer in as many games and extended his hitting streak to 10, during which he's 17-for-38 (.447). Iribarren has hit safely in 15 of his last 16 dating to Aug. 5, going 26-for-61 (.426) with 3 homers and 15 RBIs in that span. Since Aug. 5, Iribarren features the PCL's third-best batting average behind Iowa's Marquez Smith (.489) and Portland's Mike Baxter (.444). Iribarren has lifted his batting average from .240 to .268 in the last 15 games.

KEY HOMERS: The go-ahead homer in last night's ninth inning by Hernan Iribarren was OKC's first lead-taking or game-tying homer (from the fifth inning or later) since July 3. For the season, the RedHawks have hit 21 homers that tied a game or gave them the lead from the fifth inning on, going 17-4 in those games.

PITCHING LEADERBOARD: The RedHawks maintain the PCL's best ERA at 3.86. Omaha is second at 4.06. The RedHawks have allowed the fewest home runs (83) in either affiliated Triple-A league, 18 fewer than the closest PCL team, Tacoma. The only team to have more than a 2-homer game against the RedHawks is Iowa, which collected a pair of 3-homer games and one 4-homer contest in the season series.

TIDBITS: Omar Beltre pitched 7 innings for the second straight time last night in a no decision, upping OKC's record to 18-4 when the starter lasts at least 7...the RedHawks are 30-20 when their bullpen does not allow a run...Kevin Richardson and Hernan Iribarren each have 6 homers, none of which are solos...they are the only RedHawks who have homered to not have a solo.
