MEMPHIS, TN - The Memphis Redbirds extended the longest win streak of the International League season with a 7-4 win over the Gwinnett Stripers on Sunday afternoon at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Memphis found itself behind 2-0 after six innings, failing to score in the first two innings for the first time in the series. With one out and two on, designated hitter Juniel Querecuto drilled a three-run homer to give the Redbirds the lead. Later in the inning, shortstop Paul DeJong and first baseman Luken Baker added back-to-back blasts, putting Memphis up for good.

On the day, five Redbirds batters put together multi-hit efforts. Querecuto led the way with four RBI, two extra-base hits and scored a run.

On the mound, Gordon Graceffo lasted three innings of one hit, one earned run baseball in his third start of the season. The right-handed pitcher struck out four and walked five Stripers. Kyle Leahy (1-1) earned the win in relief after 2.2 innings pitched.

The win completes a six-game sweep over Gwinnett and gives Memphis a half-game lead in the International League West over the Iowa Cubs.
