Altoona Curve News Release

ALTOONA, PA - The Altoona Curve return home fresh off of taking two of three games from the Eastern League's top squad at Akron and are winners of five of the last seven games. The Curve now welcome in two New York affiliates for their only trips to Blair County Ballpark in 2009. The homestand begins with a four game series with the Binghamton Mets (AA-New York Mets) and concludes with a three game set with the Trenton Thunder (AA-New York Yankees).

As always the Curve will be offering an array of fun-filled promotions for fans to enjoy. During the weekday series with the B-Mets, the Curve Family Values promotions will be in full swing featuring the new Monday Madness 2.0/3.0 where fans can purchase two and three dollar tickets and have the opportunity to take advantage of two dollar 16 oz domestic draft beers from 7-9. When the Thunder come in for the weekend the Curve will be giving away new green Curve hats to open the series Friday, treating fans to Dave the Horn Guy Saturday, and a team autograph session as well as post game fireworks for fans to enjoy as the homestand comes to a close on Sunday.

So Curve fans come out and join your Hometown Team this homestand and throughout the rest of the 2009 season at Blair County Ballpark. Tickets are still available for each game over the seven game homestand.
