Des Moines, IA - December 26, 2014 - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, have made it 8 straight victories, a franchise record, moving to a NBA D-League best 12-2 on the season, with a thrilling 112-108 win at Iowa Friday night.
It was a one point game at halftime. Maine used balanced scoring to key victory. Seven different Red Claws finished in double-digits in points. Point guard Tim Frazier, with a season-high 21 points to go with 5 rebounds and 10 assists, led the charge. Andre Stringer had a season high 16 points off the bench, hitting crucial free throws down the stretch.
Jarrid Famous led the way for the Energy with 20 points and 20 rebounds. That rebound total is a record for rebounds by an opponent against the Red Claws. Famous grabbed 10 offensive rebounds, which tied a Red Claws record.
