The Week That Was...
After having most of the week off, the Stingrays returned to action on Friday night, traveling to Gwinnett to face the Gladiators. With both goalies recalled to Hershey, Coach Bednar signed SPHL goalie Ian Vigier. Vigier, who led the Rays to a victory against Florida earlier in the month, was strong again as the Rays defeated the Gladiators 4-3.
On Saturday night the Rays played at home against the Mississippi Sea Wolves. Scott Romfo scored his second game of the season and Michael Dubuc scored his second goal in as many games after returning from a shoulder injury as the Stingrays won at home 3-2.
Sunday night, the Rays looked to make it three wins in a row. Ian Vigier stopped 33 shots and Michael Dubuc recorded his second hat trick of the season as the Stingrays defeated the Sea Wolves 6-3.
