Kitchener, ON - PROST! It's Oktoberfest night at the Aud and the Kitchener Rangers are back at home for a Friday night clash against the Attack. Puck drop is set at 7:00 p.m. at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.

HEAD-TO-HEAD
Both these teams met on Saturday night with the Rangers suffering a 5-2 loss, dropping their overall mark to 3-1-0-0. The Attack remain unbeaten with a 4-0-0-0 start. Tonight, the Rangers are looking for to get back in the win column and hand Owen Sound their first loss of the season. In the 2024-25 season, Kitchener proved their strength against the Attack, winning six of eight matchups and finishing with an impressive 6-0-1-1 record
SCOUTING THE RANGERS (3-1-0-0)
Christian Kirsch was brilliant in his first career OHL start last Friday night stopping 23/25 shot he faced playing to a 2.00 goals against average and 0.920 save percentage. The Rangers will look to their six-foot-four goaltender to help them get back in the win column.
With a goal on Saturday night, Haeden Ellis still leads the team in points with six (3G, 3A) and has registered at least a point in all four games to begin the season. Tanner Lam was held pointless in Owen Sound, but still leads the team in goals with four and has registered all four goals on home ice this season.
Drafted Rangers:
Among eight players drafted to the NHL, four were selected in the 2025 NHL Draft: Matthew Hlacar (Toronto Maple Leafs), Andrew MacNiel (Montreal Canadians), Cameron Reid (Nashville Predators), and Luca Romano (New York Islanders). The other four players were taken in 2024: Luke Ellinas (Ottawa Senators), Christian Humphreys (Colorado Avalanche), Christian Kirsch (San Jose Sharks), and Jack Pridham (Chicago Blackhawks).
SCOUTING THE ATTACK (4-0-0-0)
The Attack are off to an impressive start this season, winning all four of their games to claim second place in the league standings. Their most recent victory came on September 28, when they edged the Barrie Colts 5-4 in a tight battle.
Tristan Delisle leads the Attack in points this season with five points (2G, 3A) in four games. He recorded his only multi-point game Saturday night when Kitchener was at the Bayshore. Jake Crawford is the leading marksman on the Attack roster with three goals in four games, two of them coming against the Rangers.
Carter George is off to a strong start between the pipes playing to a 0.943 save percentage and 1.44 goals against average in two starts this season.
Drafted Attack:
Four players from the Owen Sound Attack have been drafted to NHL. There were three taken in the 2025 Draft: David Bedkowski (Buffalo Sabres), Trenten Bennett (New Jersey Devils), Harry Nansi (Toronto Maple Leafs). The other drafted in 2024: Carter George (LA Kings).

Friday's game against the Brantford Bulldogs will be televised on Rogers TV (Channel 20). It can be watched across the province of Ontario on the Super Sports Pak on channel 468 for cable subscribers. The game will be streamed live online on FloHockey. Additionally, fans can listen to Friday's action on the radio on CityNews 570 NewsRadio Kitchener.
