SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 5, 2015) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Eric Joyce announced today that defenseman Mackenzie Weegar has been recalled from the club's ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.

Weegar has played in 19 games with the Silver and Black this season, tallying a goal and four assists. The 5-11, 207-pound rookie recorded his first pro goal in a 3-0 win over the Iowa Wild on Dec. 12. He has collected a goal and five helpers in 11 games with Cincinnati.

A seventh-round pick (206th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, Weegar spent the last two seasons with the Halifax Mooseheads (QMJHL) where he tallied 20 goals and 83 assists in 123 contests.

The Rampage host the Texas Stars in the first game to be played on pink ice as part of San Antonio's Pink in the Rink Week.
