Jets Recall Patrice Cormier from St. John's IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets announced they have recalled forward Patrice Cormier from the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League. The Winnipeg Jets also announced they have placed forward Evander Kane on IR.

Cormier, 24, has played in 24 games this season with the St. John's IceCaps collecting 10 points (5G, 5A) and 43 penalty minutes. This will be the fourth time Cormier is recalled by Jets this season. In his NHL career, Cormier has compiled five points (1G, 4A) in 49 career games with Winnipeg and the Atlanta Thrashers. The Moncton, NB native has collected 85 points (41G, 44A) and 299 penalty minutes in 187 AHL games with St. John's and the Chicago Wolves. He was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the second round, 54th overall, in the 2008 NHL Draft.
