
Florida Panthers Recall D Steven Kampfer

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive Vice-President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has recalled D Steven Kampfer from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).
Kampfer, 26, has appeared in 42 games this season for San Antonio and currently leads all Rampage defensemen in scoring with 19 points (8-11 -19).
The Ann Arbor, Michigan, native has appeared in 61 National Hockey League games for Boston (2010-12) and Minnesota (2011-12), recording 15 points (7-8 -15). Kampfer was acquired by Florida on Oct. 6, 2013 from the New York Rangers with F Andrew Yogan in exchange for F Joey Crabb.
