Springfield Falcons Assign Domenic Monardo to Reading Royals of ECHL

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons have assigned forward Domenic Monardo to the Reading Royals of the ECHL, Director of Hockey Operations Bruce Landon announced today.

Monardo, 26, has skated in 26 games with the Falcons this season, posting 7-2-9, 21 penalty minutes and a +2 rating. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound forward appeared in 70 games with the Royals during the 2013-14 season, earning 27-19-46, 62 penalty minutes and a +11 rating.

Prior to his professional career, the Oakville, Ontario native spent four years at Lake Superior State University, accumulating 49-52-101 and 100 penalty minutes in 153 contests.
