Rampage Goaltender Spencer Martin Recalled to Colorado Avalanche

SAN ANTONIO - The Colorado Avalanche today announced that goaltender Spencer Martin has been recalled from the San Antonio Rampage. Additionally, the Avalanche have reassigned forward Vladislav Kamenev to San Antonio.

Martin's call-up serves as his second recall to Colorado this season, and seventh overall. Martin played in three contests with the Avalanche during the 2016-17 season, recording an .865 save percentage and 4.35 goals-against average. The Oakville, Ontario native made his NHL debut on Jan. 21 against the San Jose Sharks. Martin has appeared in 31 games with San Antonio this season, earning a 14-12-4-0 record, .895 save percentage and 3.05 goals-against average between the pipes.

Kamenev has collected four assists in four games with San Antonio and has totaled 12 points (3g/9a) in 14 AHL games this season, including one appearance with the Avalanche. Kamenev spent the previous two campaigns with the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL), totaling 51 points (21g, 30a) in 2016-17, and finishing second on the team in points and third in both goals and assists. The Orsk, Russia, native was a second-round selection of the Nashville Predators in the 2014 NHL Draft (42nd overall).
