Iacopelli Reassigned to IceHogs

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks today announced they have reassigned forward Matheson Iacopelli from the ECHL's Indy Fuel to the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.
Iacopelli, 23, was originally reassigned to the Fuel on Feb. 21 and has totaled 10 points (9g, 1a) in nine games with Indy. He notched points in six of his nine appearances, posted three multi-point efforts and scored his first professional hat trick on Feb. 27 against Toledo. The forward has tallied three goals over his last two games, including the game-winner in overtime tonight against Kalamazoo, and caps his first ECHL stint with 38 shots in just nine contests.
The Woodhaven, Mich. native returns to Rockford where has amassed 17 points (9g, 8a) in 40 AHL games this season. Overall, Iacopelli has combined for 21 points (10g, 11a) in 48 career AHL games with the IceHogs from 2016-18.
Next Home Game: Tuesday, March 13 | Rockford vs. Iowa (7 p.m.)
The IceHogs host the Iowa Wild at 7 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Fans who attended Rockford's victory against the Texas Stars on Feb. 28 can redeem their ticket stub from that game for a free ticket of equal or lesser value to the game against the Wild on March 13.
